As you step back in time 200 years and visit pioneer America, don’t miss master pottery artist Julie Ward, who will be decked out in period costume in the contemporary section (which might seem non-sensical but that’s just how she rolls). Julie will be selling everything gnome — from one-of-a-kind mugs with everyday gnomes doing everyday things (like their laundry) to gnomes celebrating the upcoming holidays (picking pumpkins, weaving magical spells and even untangling Christmas tree lights). She’ll also have gnome garden statues who can live indoors or out ranging from 7 to 12 inches tall, gnome Christmas magnets and her one-of-a-kind 3-piece gnome nativity (“gnometivity”) that includes baby Jesus, Mary and Joseph, with entire gnometivity sets available for order that include baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, 3 wise men and gifts, 2 shepherds, 1 cow, 1 donkey and 3 sheep, and 2 angels. During the festival, Julie will be demonstrating either hand building gnome statues or hand-painting mugs.
